Founded in 1741, Most Blessed Sacrament has witnessed the birth of our nation and every struggle and triumph since. The parish is now comprised of approximately 850 families who have come together in a remarkable way to respond to the needs of our own times so that our parish’s mission can continue and remain the dwelling place of God with His people.
In 2020, Most Blessed Sacrament Church faced monumental challenges, including concerns about the structural integrity of the church’s roof and steeple, the precipitous closure of our school, and the many challenges wrought by the pandemic. Through much prayer and hard work, the parish family has rallied to renew our parish as an exceptional holy place to walk with the Lord through worship and adoration at His Holy Altar, build our community with social and charitable events, and continue our nearly three-century mission to teach our children the truths of faith and human reason.
In 2021, our parish formulated a program of restoration entitled “To Restore all things In Christ”, which aims to address both the short and long term needs of the church to support her Apostolic mission for many years to come.
To elicit the required financial support and fund management for the parish and school, Most Blessed Sacrament has partnered with the Catholic Foundation of Eastern Pennsylvania.
