Welcome to Saint Francis Classical Catholic Academy!
SAINT FRANCIS IS BACK!
Tuesday September 5th was the first day of classes at Saint Francis Classical Catholic Academy, and after a huge refurbishing effort over the summer by MBS parishioners, we re-opened our doors to 55 students in Grades PreK-8 from 32 families hailing from Berks, Montgomery, and Chester Counties. It was wonderful to see all the children in their new school uniforms greeted by our outstanding faculty and staff, and we are certainly off to a great start to the school year. Once again, thanks to the parish for your steadfast support as we re-launched the school. We are extremely excited about launching our new Classical Catholic School and are extremely grateful to MBS parishioners for all their hard work over the summer helping us ready the schoolhouse for our new students. It has been a true leap of faith, and now that we have built it, the families have certainly come. Praise be to God! There is simply no better way to re-invigorate the Church and leaven the culture than through an authentic Catholic education like the one here at Saint Francis Classical Academy.
A few reminders as we move into the fall season:
1) It's still not too late to enroll at SFCCA. Go to https://sfcca.school/apply to get started; any questions contact Dr. Brake at headmaster@mbsbally.org.
2) It's never too late to donate to SFCCA. We rely upon generous donations from faithful families like yours to make-up the difference between tuition and what it takes to recruit and hire the talented teachers required for such an outstanding education. You can donate online at https://sfcca.school/donate; no amount is too small, nor too large!
3) Be on the lookout for more information for what we hope to be a new tradition at our school - St. Francis Day on October 4 th - the Feast Day of our patron saint. We hope to offer folks a special lunch as we put on an all-day celebration with fun and games in a Medieval/Renaissance theme. Contact Claire Stoll for more information at secretary@mbsbally.org.
4) We are looking to start an alumni association to build-up pride in our parish school. Contact Dr. Brake if you'd like to join, become a leader, and share contact information with fellow alums.
St. Francis, pray for us!

Through the tradition of the Catholic liberal arts, the mission of Saint Francis Classical Catholic Academy is to assist parents in the education of their children-mind, body, spirit-inspiring them with joy and wonder to better understand the truth of the Gospel, the goodness of the Golden Rule, and the beauty of God's Creation. In other words, we are a Heaven-Prep school that graduates Smart Saints.
Our motto is Veritas Bonum et Decorum - Truth Goodness and Beauty.

FAITHFUL. AFFORDABLE. NURTURING.
SFCCA, is pleased to announce that it will be teaming-up with Most Blessed Sacrament parish next year to re-launch the parish’s CYO Athletic Program for the 2023-24 school year. This exciting partnership will allow both MBS parishioners and students at SFCCA to participate in several athletic and academic endeavors next year, perfectly complimenting a curriculum that is designed to cultivate virtue and achievement in the whole child—mind, body, and spirit. Run by MBS, this joint CYO program will offer the following activities for school-age children: Boys & Girls Cross Country; Girls Volleyball; Boys & Girls Basketball; Girls Cheerleading; Boys & Girls Track and Field; Spelling Bee; Declamation Contest; and Academic Bowl. There is also the possibility, depending upon student interest and the availability of other teams in the region, to offer these additional sports next year: Girls Softball; Boys Baseball; and Boys & Girls Golf.
We would be competing against other Becks County Catholic Parishes for the 2023 – 2024 school year. At this moment we are looking for coaches for our Cross Country and Girls Volleyball. If interested, please contact Ben Puzauskas either by phone at 484-624-2452 or by email at bepuzauskas@dejazzd.com.
